- Using SPECTRUM email
There are two main ways to access your SPECTRUM mail: via a traditional email client (e.g. Eudora, Pine,
Outlook Express), or via SPECTRUM Webmail (reading/composing/managing your mail via a web browser).
Webmail
You only need a 128-bit SSL capable web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape, to access SPECTRUM
Webmail. Webmail offers the convenience of access from a web browser, but at the cost of some functionality --
webmail does not have as many capabilities as a regular, stand-alone email client (e.g. Eudora). For
information on SPECTRUM Webmail, click here.
Traditional Email Client
You must configure your email client to access the SPECTRUM system. Below are listed instructions on how to configure the most common email clients. If your email client is not listed below, or need assistance configuring your client,
contact the OIT Customer Support Center at (404)894-7173.

- Using filtering, vacation, and forwarding (optional)
Forwarding, vacation notices and server-side filtering of email is accomplished via Filtering, Vacation, and Forwarding link at http://tools.mail.gatech.edu
Instructions for using the application can be found
here.
